I went to the opening night of the Will to Power Art Exhibition at the Bridgeport Art Center on October 5th in an attempt to grasp this scheme of an ongoing citywide art hunt, the object of which is to discover the collaboratively made Exquisite Corpse.

Across the Banks

It has been a long trip for the Zhou Brothers, who relocated to Chicago from China in the mid-1980s. They find a respite from that journey in their most recent work, “Li–The River of Souls” at the Zhou B Art Center–a riveting collection awash in a palette of cool colors.

“We only serve water here,” asserted a young female volunteer tending a Revolution tap. But her serious face soon cracked a smile, indicating that, yes, she would pour me a glass of IPA as soon as she rinsed it out.…
